His Love Ministries
We spread the gospel to the least of these with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ; We reach out to those the World has forgotten. Matthew 7:13 “Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. 14 For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.

John 1.35-42 The Revealing of Jesus To The Disciples
Wednesday Mar 17, 2010
Wednesday Mar 17, 2010
John 1:35 Again, the next day, John stood with two of his disciples. 36 And looking at Jesus as He walked, he said, "Behold the Lamb of God!" 37 The two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus. 38 Then Jesus turned, and seeing them following, said to them, "What do you seek?" They said to Him, "Rabbi" (which is to say, when translated, Teacher), "where are You staying?" 39 He said to them, "Come and see." They came and saw where He was staying, and remained with Him that day (now it was about the tenth hour). 40 One of the two who heard John speak, and followed Him, was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother. 41 He first found his own brother Simon, and said to him, "We have found the Messiah" (which is translated, the Christ). 42 And he brought him to Jesus. Now when Jesus looked at him, He said, "You are Simon the son of Jonah. You shall be called Cephas" (which is translated, A Stone).
In this section of Scripture we continue to see Jesus revealed to another group of people, very important people in God’s plan for the salvation of Mankind. This is the last time we see John the Baptist in his role as the revealer of Jesus. He fades off into the sunset now that his part has been played and the revealed one becomes the main focus of John’s Gospel. Many people then and probably many today misunderstood the role of John the Baptist. He is only the newspaper boy telling us to read all about it in the Headlines, Jesus the Lamb of God has come to take away the sin of the World. We will see John, James, Andrew, and Peter come to Jesus and begin their walk with Him. This is the beginning of their call to eventually become his Apostles and the ones who would write scripture, and become the foundation of the church.

John 1:31-34 The Revealing of Jesus to John and Israel
Tuesday Mar 02, 2010
Tuesday Mar 02, 2010
John 1:31 "I did not know Him; but that He should be revealed to Israel, therefore I came baptizing with water." 32 And John bore witness, saying, "I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and He remained upon Him. 33 "I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, 'Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.' 34 "And I have seen and testified that this is the Son of God."
This is a great section of scripture that tells us that John did not know Jesus even though he was His cousin. It gives us a glimpse into the mind of God and how He works when showing us His will. If you want to know the will of God you have to do the will of God that has already been revealed. We will also see the difference between John’s baptism and the Baptism that Jesus came for to give to us who would believe in His name.

John 1:27-30 Jesus The Lamb Of God That Takes Away The Sin Of The World
Wednesday Feb 24, 2010
Wednesday Feb 24, 2010
John 1:27 "It is He who, coming after me, is preferred before me, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose." 28 These things were done in Bethabara beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing. 29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, "Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! 30 "This is He of whom I said, 'After me comes a Man who is preferred before me, for He was before me.'"
In this tremendous passage of scripture we see John the Baptist still saying he is nothing compared to Jesus. He tells us that before he talks about Jesus and then again after he points us to the Lamb of God. He will tell us about that glorious Lamb that takes away the sin of the world and was predicted all the way back in Genesis 3:15, and spoken of so many times in the Old Testament sacrifices. He tells us that Jesus is the only one who can take away our sin and provide salvation.

John 1:19-26 The Testimony of John About Himself
Wednesday Feb 17, 2010
Wednesday Feb 17, 2010
John 1:19 Now this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, "Who are you?" 20 He confessed, and did not deny, but confessed, "I am not the Christ." 21 And they asked him, "What then? Are you Elijah?" He said, "I am not." "Are you the Prophet?" And he answered, "No." 22 Then they said to him, "Who are you, that we may give an answer to those who sent us? What do you say about yourself?" 23 He said: "I am 'The voice of one crying in the wilderness: "Make straight the way of the LORD,"' as the prophet Isaiah said." 24 Now those who were sent were from the Pharisees. 25 And they asked him, saying, "Why then do you baptize if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?" 26 John answered them, saying, "I baptize with water, but there stands One among you whom you do not know.
We’ve seen the testimony of John about Christ, now we see the powers that be asking John who he is and why he is doing all the things he is doing, especially baptizing. They are worried about who he is and why he has come and why so many people are flocking to him out in the desert. John will not even speak about who he is but does what he always does, his job, which is to point others to Jesus. The ones who are sent go away without the answer of who he is, but heard something much more important that they do not even listen to or care about. How sad for them.

The Witness of John About Christ John 1:15-18
Friday Feb 05, 2010
Friday Feb 05, 2010
John 1:15 John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, "This was He of whom I said, 'He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.'" 16 And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.
In this section of scripture we see the use of courtroom terms giving us the legal witness of John the Baptist about Jesus and who He is. We see that John talks about Jesus being the preeminent one and that we see all of God in Him. That He gives Grace whereas Moses gave the law which could only condemn. Lastly we see that Jesus is the one who explains to us who the Father is.

John 1:14 God In Human Flesh
Wednesday Dec 30, 2009
Wednesday Dec 30, 2009
If you want to read a book of the Bible that will tell you about who Jesus really is and why He came, read this Book. John 20:30-31 And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book; 31 but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name. (NKJV) John wrote this book with no birth narrative, no manger scene, no geneology, but he went straight to the point in John 1:1-2 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. He wants to let us know the Jesus is God in human flesh. He is not a God as some of the cults say, but He is THE ONE AND ONLY GOD. John uses seven Key miracles, seven key people and the seven I AM statements of Jesus to make the point that Jesus is who He said He was and still is today.

John 1:12-13 But As Many As Received Him
Wednesday Dec 30, 2009
Wednesday Dec 30, 2009
In John 1:12-13 John begins to tell us how even though the world did not know Christ (cf: John 1:10-11) when He came into this world that He created and that His own special people the Jews did not know Him nor receive Him when He came into the world; that as many as received Him will be saved. In other words, it is the ones who by faith alone ask God to forgive them on the basis of what Jesus did on the cross will be saved. He tells us how these who ask for forgiveness for their sins will become the children of God and the fact that man cannot be saved by any human effort of good works or mental effort of the will, but only by the grace of God (cf: Eph 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.) I hope you will listen to this message and explore this passage as it answers many questions about working and willing ourselves into Heaven, it just cannot be done.

That You May Know You Have Eternal Life 1 John 5:13-21
Wednesday Apr 01, 2009
Wednesday Apr 01, 2009
This is the final section in John's book where he culminates it all by summing it all up in one verse; 1 John 5:13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God. He talks about the assurance of eternal life, the assurance of answered prayer if we are right with God and asking in God's will, the assurance of judgement if we keep on sinning in an area in which God has dealt with us and told us to quit; He also talks about the assurance of our protection by God; and an understanding and assurance that we have trusted in the true God and have eternal life in that relationship, as in John 17:3; and to keep ourselves from idols. This book either condemns us because we have not trusted in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for our sin alone for our salvation, or it can give us the assurance that we know that we know that we know that we have eternal life because we have trusted in the only one who could give it to us, Jesus Christ; Amen Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

1 John 5:7-12 The Witness of God
Tuesday Mar 10, 2009
Tuesday Mar 10, 2009
I know many folks today wonder whether they are saved or not. It seems like people want to trust God for anything but keeping them saved. God did everything necessary to save you and will keep you. You did nothing to earn it and can do nothing to keep it either. Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. If God did the greater thing by saving you, will He not do the lesser and keep you also!!! But if you want to have assurance of your salvation then the book of 1 John is for you. It speaks to the issue of the signs of your salvation and lets you know that God wants you to know for sure you are saved or if not you need to be. 1 John 5:13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and believe in the name of the Son of God.

25 YEARS OF MINISTERING TO THE FORGOTTEN
Please help us reach out to those the World has forgotten. Everyone we minister to is locked up in some way, shape, or form. Those in Nursing Home facilities are locked up in bodies that do not work, in a wheelchair or in a bed. We minister to children and youth who are locked up because of behavioral problems. Some have told us, “We want to have a Real Family”, because their parents have lost or given up custody of them. Other kids are locked up because they have committed crimes. We also minister to those locked up at the jail/prison; to those locked up in addictions to drugs, alcohol, depression, and suicidal thoughts; to those locked up in a variety of other things that keep them from becoming who Jesus wants them to be. He came to give us abundant life, joy, and set us free, and these people that we minister to are not free. Our desire is to show them whatever their background, no matter what they have done, to see how much God loves them; We seek to help them receive forgiveness and freedom from their sin in Jesus Christ. We minister in the local area of Savannah, Georgia and surrounding Effingham and Chatham area. We have recently expanded our ministry to the Lexington/Columbia SC area. We do over 700 services every year. We hope and pray that you will support us in some way so we can continue our mission. Go to His Love Ministries.net and Click on the Donate Now button or send it via regular mail to PO Box 1881 Lexington, SC 29071. We hope and pray that you will do that. Thank you and God bless you.
