WHY THEY KILLED JESUS

                And I think I'll talk about this later on, but they didn't kill Jesus because anything bad he did. But he told them they couldn't continue the way they were living and they weren't going to heaven by practicing the law. And they didn't want him telling them what to do. They didn't want him to tell them they were wrong because these Pharisees, man, they were the... They were it. They were the power people. They were the mighty people. They were it. Man, if you were a Pharisee, you was the top dog. You were the muckety-muck, the powers that be. You were it. Because there was only 6,000 of those people when Paul was around. These guys, you know, they didn't want to be told they were doing anything wrong. And so they killed Jesus because they didn't want to be told they were doing anything wrong.

 

Mark 8:36 "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?

 

             John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. Have you trusted Him as your Savior? He can Save you if You ask Him based on His death, burial, and resurrection for your sins. Believe in Him for forgiveness of your sins today.
