ROMANS 5.9-11 REASONS WE CAN BE THANKFUL FOR CHRIST PART 3

Romans 5:9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. 10 For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. 11 And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

In this final message on Romans 5:1-11 we will see the last three reasons why we should be thankful we know Christ, or three reasons why we should trust Christ as Lord and Savior.  Paul finishes this section with the fact that we are saved from the wrath of God by Jesus’s shed blood.  He tells us that we now have a relationship with God whereas it was not possible unless Christ’s blood was shed for our sins. And lastly we see that joy comes from a relationship with God.  John 15:11 "These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.

 V-1 We have Peace with God:     

1. V-2 We have Access to God: Or an introduction to Grace through Jesus Christ
2. V-2 We have Standing before God:
3. V-2 We can rejoice in the Hope of the Glory of God:
4. V-3 We are able to Glory or rejoice in Tribulations through the Strength of God:
5. V-3-4 We have Perseverance (patience or endurance), Character, and Hope from God:
6. V-5-8 We have the Love of God poured out in our hearts:
7. V-5  We have the Holy Spirit from God:
8. V-9  We have a pardon from wrath by God:
9. V-10 We have Reconciliation with God:
10. V-11 We have Joy in God and from God:

Mark 8:36 "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?

   John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. Have you trusted Him as your Savior? He can Save you if You ask Him based on His death, burial, and resurrection for your sins. Believe in Him for forgiveness of your sins today.

“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”  -John 8:32
